Hi book friends! We’ve rounded up our top book couples and grouped them by genre (because we could not narrow it down 😂). These couples give us all the feels and make us wish for an epic romance in our own lives ☺️.
𝐹𝒶𝓋𝑜𝓇𝒾𝓉𝑒 𝐵𝑜𝑜𝓀 𝒞𝑜𝓊𝓅𝓁𝑒𝓈:
Poppy + Cas, FBAA series:
Casteel is Katherine’s book husband so we couldn’t not include this couple 😂. We are absolutely in love with them, both are such strong characters by themselves and their relationship only makes them stronger. We don’t know who we’re more jealous of...Casteel or Poppy. We love their passion, banter, stabby tendencies 🗡, and willingness to do anything for each other. While the start of their relationship was definitely rocky, they were able to develop a healthy relationship with good communication. These two have gone through so much both as a couple and individuals.
Leigh + Jarod, Angels of Elysium series:
This couple is the epitome of ill-fated lovers 🖤. The kind of love that you cannot run from no matter how hard you try and how wrong you seem for each other. While their story is not the happiest, it is 100% worth it and proves that it’s better to have loved and lost than not loved at all. After the first book, we were absolutely wrecked and could not handle all the emotions 😖. But we promise that if you stick with this series your heart will be mended...and it might make you believe in second chances.
Auren + Slade, The Plated Prisoner series:
The Plated Prisoner series is first and foremost about a woman's journey to self love and emotional strength, but the romantic love that she finds along the way is nothing less than what she deserves 👩🍳💋. It’s hard to trust a man in this series based off of all that Auren goes through, but Slade not only rises up to the challenge but also above the expectations that we had for men in this fantasy world. We absolutely love Auren and Slade, they perfectly complement and support each other and we’re so excited to keep seeing how their relationship grows 💫.
Lina + Aaron, The Spanish Love Deception:
This book couple is our absolute favorite contemporary romance relationship. They are so opposite from each other that it makes them completely perfect for one another. Their relationship is caring and sweet while also being passionate and steamy, and we cannot get enough of either of them 😍. Both Lina and Aaron give so much to each other but in different ways, ultimately developing a super strong relationship. We are so excited to hopefully see snippets of them in the next book which follows Linas best friend 💗.
Gianna + Christian, Made series:
Wow these two were an unlikely pair but they work so well it’s insane. Gianna is free spirited but jaded, saying and dressing however she wants 💃🏻. Christian is buttoned up and seems impenetrable, a man so cold nobody can break down his walls...except for her. Both are incredibly passionate people and we loved seeing them force each other to be real and vulnerable 🥺. If you love a love/hate mafia themed romance you will definitely fall head over heels for Gianna and Christian.
Cora + Dean, Still Beating:
While every couple on this list has faced many obstacles, Dean and Cora have probably had it the toughest. Both experienced an immeasurable amount of emotional and physical trauma, but it is that trauma that initially brings them together. But, what we love most about this couple is that they did the strongest thing possible by giving each other space to heal as individuals and remember their own worth before getting into a healthy relationship 💪. Fans of dark contemporary romance will love Dean and Cora for all of their heart, pain, and love for one another 😩.
Evelyn + Celia, The Seven Husband of Evelyn Hugo:
Although these two have a complicated and at times flawed relationship, that is exactly what makes them so real as characters and is a huge reason why we love these women so much. Their love story is beautiful, once in a lifetime, and heart wrenching 🥺. This couple's relationship goes through various changes throughout both of their lives, but their love never fades. Evelyn and Celia taught us that you should always tell the people you love how much you care for them, because life is too short to hold back 💚.
Bryce + Danika, Crescent City:
We know that this is a platonic couple (sorry Hunt 😅) but we love Bryce and Danika’s friendship so much that we had to include them! Although it was short lived *cries 😭*, these two made a lasting impression on us and were a huge reason why we loved Crescent City so much. Bryce and Danika really exemplified the power of friendship and how important it is to hold those you love as close as you can 🌙. Fun fact: We’re even planning to dress up as Bryce and Danika for Halloween this year 👯♀️.
